2015 Children's Law Conference

Who Should Attend:
The conference is designed for a multi-disciplinary audience, including child protection caseworkers, juvenile justice staff, attorneys, guardians ad litem, law enforcement officers, educators, and mental health and medical professionals.
Please be sure to register for the event by October 16, 2015 so that we will be prepared with materials, lunch, and refreshment breaks. Professionals and general public registration fee is $75. For your convenience you may register online or you may mail your registration with a check made payable to University of South Carolina (USC) addressed to:

When paying by check, please select that registration type and be sure to mail your check to arrive by the October 16th preferred date. Please contact the Children’s Law Center at 777-1646 with cancellation or substitution notice.
DSS Staff: Registration for a limited number of DSS staff is pre-paid through a contract. DSS staff must register online by clicking here and going to the DSS icon. Once your registration has been completed, please print the Supervisor Approval Form, complete the requested information, and fax to our office. Registration is not final until this form is received. Please complete the entire ONLINE REGISTRATION process before sending in your Supervisor's approval form. When DSS registrations are full, the icon will no longer appear. You may be placed on a waiting list by faxing a registration form and your supervisor's approval form to (803) 576-5580.
General Registration Methods:
Email confirmations will be sent within five (5) business days after receipt of your registration. If you do not receive a confirmation, please call the Children's Law Center at (803) 777-1646. The confirmation includes information you will need regarding the conference, including your workshop assignments.
Refund Policy: If you are not able to attend the conference, you may send a designated substitute. If you prefer to request a refund, we will attempt to honor written requests received by October 16.
CLE / CEU CREDIT: Approval for 5.0 CLE credit hours has been requested. This conference is approved for 5.0 contact hours of continuing education credit for licensed psychologists, social workers, and licensed professional counselors. Uniform Certificates of Attendance will be available. Credits for law enforcement officers and victim service providers have been requested.
